Tiritiri Matangi, le sanctuaire des oiseaux

A 30 km et 75 minutes de ferry d'Auckalnd, on peut découvrir cette île magique au nom évocateur: tiritiri matangi, agité par le vent. Cette réserve gérée par le DOC accueille près de 80 espèces d'oiseaux (kiwi, takahe, tui et manchot pygmé entre autres) ainsi que d'autres animaux menacés de disparition, comme le préhistorique tuatara.

Avec un guide ou seul, partez à la découverte de cette faune exceptionnelle, mais un conseil: attendez un jour de soleil! (Ça devrait bien arriver un jour ou l'autre!)
